CRYPTOMNESIA

A dialogue between what was once carved by hand and what is born from pixels and light.

Cryptomnesia explores the intersection of analog and digital creation. Each work begins as a linocut print and is later transformed through digital illustration, merging tactile mark-making with digital visual language.

The process itself reflects the phenomenon of cryptomnesia, where forgotten memories resurface in altered form. Original marks persist, but their context shifts. What was once fixed becomes fluid, reinterpreted, and displaced.

Across twelve works, gestures and structures reappear in new configurations, suspended between emergence and disappearance. The images behave like memory itself: unstable, recursive, and quietly deceptive.

The series traces a subtle evolution of consciousness, from passive absorption to self-awareness, and the estrangement that follows. Each piece reveals how memory deceives, reconstructs, and repeats itself until the individual becomes indistinguishable from what it has inherited.

Edition Details

A collection of 12 works, each released as a limited edition of 25 giclée prints, plus 7 artist’s proofs. Every print is individually embossed, dated, numbered, and signed by the artist.
